Knot Another Choir is a local community choir, we are a registered charity. The choir relies on fundraising and donations to supplement income from our members subscriptions with all monies being directed into the running of the choir. There are significant costs associated with running a choir like ours including subsiding memberships for our younger members and those in financial need. We would very much appreciate donations or sponsorship from any company or individual, however small the amount, as a one off donation or a regular payment. This support will help us to purchase essential equipment and fund transport so that we can attend exciting events and give regular performances.

Many thanks to the Waugh Trust for their generous donation. The Waugh Trust was set up in 2021 after former teacher Alan Waugh left money to Knaresborough Rotary Club in his will. The late Mr Waugh had said he hoped the money would be used for improvement of the town, restoration of public buildings exterior décor, town regeneration and education.

Many thanks to Knaresborough Town Council for sponsoring our trip to compete in the Manchester Annual Choral Competition (MACC) at The Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) on the 3rd March 2024. We were delighted to be represent Knaresborough with 89 of our choir members where we were awarded joint 2nd place.
