Festival of Christmas Carols

The service will take the form of seven lessons and carols by candlelight. We’ll be expected to give the carol singing some oomph to help the congregational singing I’ll make sure you’ve got the words. This will be a lovely start to Christmas in what is a stunning church.

1^st Carol – Once in Royal David’s City - which would be lovely if the first verse could be sung by a soloist from the choir at the back of the church next to the Christmas tree? Congregation join in from verse 2.

Short break for mulled wine followed by a 20-minute set of Christmas songs sung by the Choir finishing with Merry Christmas Everyone?
